Overview - We Make You Look Good.

Hitch Creative is a branding, design and interactive agency. We make you look good, that’s our job and we’re good at it.

Our years of experience in both traditional and interactive media means we understand the big picture and offer our clients the best of both worlds…in short, we walk both sides of the fence, the left hand knows what the right hand is doing, we’re like yin and yang, shirts and skins…uh, you get the point.

We love what we do and it shows in our work. We treat every client, every project, (and every Peet’s coffee run) as a new challenge. That keeps us interested and fresh in our thinking and it makes coming to work every day a hell of a lot of fun.

Best Advice
Don’t Hang Around, Buy A Round

Dana is an information junkie whose job is to know who’s who and what’s what. He focuses on the strategic vision of the company, runs the day to day operations and stays on top of the latest trends in the industry. Prior to Hitch Creative, he co-founded Fogworks in 1999, an award winning interactive agency. Previous experience as paperboy, bartender and especially Tahoe ski bum uniquely positioned him for his role as CEO of Hitch...plus he’s the oldest.

Dana received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and a Ph.D in “ski bumming” from the slopes of Tahoe.

Seeing The Plus Sign On The Pee Stick

Passion. Perfection. Style. That describes Wendy pretty well. A designer for over 15 years, she oversees all creative direction at Hitch. Wendy has extremely high standards and isn’t afraid to voice her opinion in defense of saving a good design or dumping a bad one (trust us on this one). Her straightforward approach helps keep us all on track and moving in the right direction (or else).

Wendy received a BFA in Graphic Design from California College of the Arts (or California College of Arts and Crafts which she still calls it).

Embarrassing Fact
I’m Not Easily Embarrassed

Gaird is a hybrid of creative type and computer geek. He was born in France, raised in a small California town and now lives near San Francisco with his family. Always working in the design world, Gaird has designed ceramics, stained glass, parade floats, theater stages, comic strips, T-shirts, interactive TV interfaces, multimedia, websites and his house. He’s an illustrator, mime, shortstop, waiter, existentialist, and a dad.

Favorite things include being with the family, body surfing, good food, and hard rock. He received a B.S. in Graphic Design from San Jose State University.

Convincing My Brother To Jump Out A Second Story Window With A Bedsheet - Before Me.

A perpetually optimistic person, Amy is known as “Amy Sunshine” around the studio. It’s no wonder she was the Prom Queen and Valedictorian of her class (and almost joined the Peace Corps). A designer for over 15 years, she oversees all creative direction for Hitch. If there’s one thing she’s passionate about, it’s the idea of good design in all things (and animals that need rescuing).

Amy received a B.A in Political Science from the University of San Francisco and a BFA in Graphic Design from California College of the Arts.

Embarrassing Fact
Lawsuit Prevents Discussing It

Steve is truly a jack-of-all-trades. We call him a web developer but his background includes painting, sculpting, 3D, illustration, programming and just about whatever needs to be done. An entrepreneur at heart, he secured 1.25mil in funding by doodling on a napkin while in-flight back in 2000 (true story).

In his spare time he is an avid sailor and snowboarder. Steve attended the University of Alaska and Art Institute of Chicago.

The Chance To Try New Technologies, To Create New Things

Best Advice
Don’t Rush And Don't Take Things Personally

Dimas thrives on discovering new ideas and technologies. He loves to learn and be challenged. Some say he's a gadgets person, he embraces new ideas and just plain likes to tinker. He is a hands on kind of person and feels anyone can do whatever they set their minds to.

One of the most valuable lessons he has learned in life, from a mentor of his (Bob Berry, CEO, DPS Telecom) was “make it your fault”, it basically means that when you take responsibility for things you are now the owner of the outcome, you must see it through to success.
